About me
I'm Jack Denton, an outdoor and adventure photographer and videographer based in Hebden Bridge, in the heart of the Calder Valley.
I grew up fell running competitively — chasing times, podiums, the marked course. Running still shapes how I see the landscape, but I'm more interested in finding my own line than following someone else's route. That's the same instinct I bring to a camera — going off the obvious path to find what a place actually feels like, not just how it looks.
My path here wasn't a straight line either — I studied film at university, then spent years learning what makes content actually work for a business rather than just look good during my time as a Social Media Manager, but I’ve always had my camera in my hand along the way.
Today I work with outdoor, adventure and wellness brands who want to look and feel as good as they actually are — bringing technical craft, a social-first eye, and a genuine love of the outdoors to every shoot.
